Lethal Company How to Disable Turrets

Lethal Company Disable Turrets: How to Turn Off Turrets

One of the first skills you’ll want to learn in Lethal Company is how to disable turrets. Nothing chills the spine quite like the whirring menace of a turret. These steel sentinels guard resources and hidden paths. One wrong move and you’re reduced to a bloody stain on the floor.

How to Disable Turrets in Lethal Company

The most reliable way to turn off turrets in Lethal Company is through teamwork. Here’s how it works:

  1. Assign one player to stay behind on the ship and monitor the security cameras.
    • This player, the Operator, will be your eyes and ears in the facility.
  2. The Operator will need to identify the turret on the camera and note its unique code displayed next to it.
  3. Back at the terminal on the ship, the Operator will enter the turret’s code to temporarily disable it.
  4. While the turret is down, the players inside the facility can sprint past or loot the guarded area.

Remember, the deactivation is temporary, so be mindful of the reactivating turret!

How to Sneak Past Turrets in Lethal Company Solo

Playing solo in Lethal Company is a thrilling challenge, but navigating past turrets without an Operator requires some ingenuity. Here are a few options:

Observe the turret’s scanning pattern and carefully move behind it when its attention is elsewhere. This method requires patience and precise timing. If that doesn’t work strike the turret with a melee weapon. This will trigger its “rage mode,” where it spins and fires in a circular motion. Use this brief window to dash past while the turret’s attention is elsewhere.

If all else fails, sometimes a well-timed sprint can do the trick. Wait for the turret to “charge up” before firing, then race past before its attack hits you. This is a last-ditch effort and should only be attempted if absolutely necessary.

How do turrets work?

Lethal Company turrets come in various shapes and sizes, but they all share one common trait: being deadly. These guardians scan their surroundings and on spotting a player, fire bullets that can shred even the most well-equipped scavenger.

Here’s what you need to know about Lethal Company turrets:

  • They spawn randomly: Be vigilant, as turrets can appear in any abandoned building, often lurking in dark corners or blocking key pathways.
  • They have a distinct signature: Keep an eye out for their glowing red eye and the whirring sound they make when activated.
  • They’re brutal but not invincible: While incredibly dangerous, Lethal Company turrets can be outmaneuvered or even temporarily disabled.
