Can you get flying mounts in Palworld

Palworld: Can you Get a Flying Mount?

In Palworld, flying mounts are large-sized Pals that players can capture, equip with saddles, and then ride to navigate the skies of the game world. They allow players to reach distant locations more easily.

Can use a flying Pal as a mount in Palworld?

Yes, in Palworld you can use flying Pals as mounts to travel through the skies. Once you have captured a large-sized flying Pal, such as a Nitewing or Vanwyrm, and crafted the appropriate saddle for it, you can use it as a flying mount.

Flying mounts in Palworld help players in exploration, transportation, combat, and overall gameplay. They are important for players seeking efficient travel methods, strategic advantages, and a more engaging and dynamic gaming experience. Flying mounts encourages players to explore and progress in the Palworld universe.

Types of Flying Mount Pals:

  1. Nitewings: Eagle-like Pals found between the Grassy Behemoth Hills and Fort Ruins waypoints.
  2. Vanwyrms: Fire-type Pals found west of the Ravine Entrance waypoint.

To ride a flying mount Pal in Palworld:

  1. Capture the Flying Pal: Identify the type of flying Pal you want to capture. Nitewings are one example and can often be found flying between the Grassy Behemoth Hills and Fort Ruins waypoints. Equip yourself with a good ranged weapon or have a strong Pal to help you in combat. Use Pal Spheres (Mega or Giga spheres are recommended) to capture the flying Pal. Note that capturing flying Pals can be more challenging than capturing ground-based ones.
  2. Unlock the Saddle Blueprint: To unlock a saddle blueprint you need you reach a certain level in the game. For example, to unlock the Nitewing Saddle blueprint, you need to reach Level 15. Access the tech tree to unlock the specific saddle blueprint for the type of flying Pal you captured.
  3. Craft a Saddle: Head to a Pal Gear Workbench with the necessary materials to craft the saddle. Craft the saddle using the blueprint you unlocked. In the case of Nitewings, craft the Nitewing Saddle.
  4. Equip the Saddle: After crafting the saddle, go to your inventory or Pal Gear Workbench. Equip the saddle to the captured flying Pal. This unlocks the ability to mount the Pal.
  5. Summon and Mount: Summon the flying Pal from your party and press the Ride button to hop on. Now, you can control the flying Pal and use it to navigate the skies of Palworld.

Keep in mind that flying mounts consume stamina, so be cautious not to let their stamina deplete completely to avoid falling. If your flying Pal is about to run out of stamina, you can quickly dismount and use a parachute to extend your air time.
