The Enshrouded PS5, PS4, and Xbox release date is something that many players want to know. Developed by Keen Games, this survival co-op action RPG has made a splash on Steam Early Access. Is there an Enshrouded PlayStation, Xbox release date?
There is no Enshrouded PS5, PS4, or Xbox release date at the time of writing, but Keen Games has confirmed that it plans on releasing Enshrouded on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
According to an FAQ on the game posted on Steam in October 2024, the developer states that the game will release on Steam Early Access first. They have decided not to release an early access version of the game on console. That said, it “will eventually bring the game to other platforms (namely, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S) and storefronts, after completion. On top of that, Enshrouded will be available on the GeForce Now streaming service as well.
As for saves, we suggest not relying on your progress to be carried over in any way from Steam Early Access to the completed version of the game. There’s no word yet on whether Enshrouded will have cross-saves. You can currently take your character and bring it to another server, so it would seem like the infrastructure has been laid down to make it easy to bring your save data across platforms.
On that note, there’s no word on whether Enshrouded will be cross-platform either. A co-op game like this, which allows for worlds of up to 16 players, would greatly benefit from it. But it’s uncertain whether PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players will be able to be in the same server.
