The Elder Scrolls Online Gets Console Release Date, Loses Subscription Fee

Bethesda has just announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be launching on Xbox One and PS4 on June 9.

The game will be receiving the snazzy subtitle Tamriel Unlimited along with all of the the extra content that has been released for PC and Mac users. Better yet, it won't require a monthly subscription fee. If you already own the game on PC or Mac, you will be able to upgrade your copy of the game on March 17 for free.

If you do want to give Bethesda your money on a regular basis, there will also be a service called ESO Plus, which grants you full access to all the downloadable content, as well as more Crowns, bonus experience, and more.
