Remedy Entertainment CEO Leaves Studio

Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Max Payne and Alan Wake, is losing an important member of its team in the near future. Company CEO Matias Myllyrinne announced his departure on the Remedy website earlier today.

Myllyrinne "late goodbye" post details his decision to move on after 15 years with the company.

"It is time for me to move on," he said. "It has been a great ride and now is the right time to start another adventure. Remedy will be an unbelievably tough act to follow."

According to a tweet from Myllyrinne, he's joining developer Wargaming, the studio responsible for World of Tanks. He begins work there in August.

Meanwhile, Remedy continues to develop Quantum Break, the Xbox One exclusive. The action game/TV show hybrid is scheduled to come out some time next year.
