Ubisoft opened up its E3 Press Conference with quite the surprise: a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth. It's titled South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and it's more South Park, exactly what fans want.
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone shared while on-stage that they began to truly understand game design toward the end of The Stick of Truth's development. So, while they weren't planning to make another game, they eventually caved.
In this new game you dive into the new kid's story and get an idea of what he's all about. There will still be a heavy presence of South Park characters, but the protagonist will be given more prominence.
