PSA: Fallout Shelter Now Available on Google Play

Fallout Shelter, which excitingly debuted on iOS devices in June during Bethesda's E3 press conference, is finally available worldwide for Android devices. So wait, why am I writing this? I'm download it now… hold on a sec.

Okay, so while that's downloading on my Samsung tablet, this version of Fallout Shelter comes with several game updates, including the robotic companion Mr. Handy as a premium reward, Deathclaw invasions, and Molerat infestations.

The App Store version has actually surpassed Candy Crush as the third-most downloaded app in the US. Not too shabby. But maybe we can do a little better on the Android side.

GR's Jeb Haught awarded Fallout Shelter 3.5 stars, praising it for authentic Vault Boy visuals but criticizing it for gameplay that can be very slow and basic.
