Sony Kicks Off New Kevin Butler Campaign

The "It Only Does Everything" campaign was Sony's most successful ad since the PS3 launched back in 2006. And although anything would be better than creepy crying babies, the success was mostly due to the Flavor Flav of PlayStation, Kevin Butler. His antics amused, his words of wisdom resonated – the VP of nearly everything entertained with each commercial and appearance.

It's really no surprise that after leaving his post as VP at PlayStation for a more lucrative role as President of Economy Flooring, that SCEA President, Jack Tretton, would try to woo him back. And woo he did. Wooed Kevin Butler across a pond via waverunner, flaming crossbow in hand, only to no-look flaming crossbow shoot and ignite a sign to reveal Sony's new ad slogan: Long Live Play.

Epic, I know.
