Holiday Sales Haven’t Arrived and Xbox One Is Already Going For $329

If you're on the market for an Xbox One, market conditions are on your side. Microsoft is battling ferociously with Sony to achieve majority market share in North America, and consumers are getting great deals as a result.

Although listed at $349.99, the soon-to-be-released Xbox One White 500GB Gears of War Bundle is being offered for pre-order at Walmart for a surprising $329. The price is only revealed once users share their name and e-mail.

This comes less than two months before the holiday 2015 rush, which is when console manufacturers aim for big sales numbers with low prices and attractive bundles. Last year Microsoft sold its Assassin's Creed Unity bundle for $329 prompting record sales figures for the Xbox brand. The low price has raised the question as to whether or not it'll be able to go even lower this year.

With more than five bundles prepared, Microsoft is projecting that it'll sell a massive quantity of units this holiday season, preferably totaling at over two million. With Halo 5: Guardians, a new Windows 10 UI, backward compatibility, and a Fallout 4 marketing campaign soon to come, a $299 price point could produce remarkable results.
