Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn Hopes Not to FU It Up

Yes, this is still a thing.

Shaquille O'Neal appeared at The Game Awards 2015 to promote a new eSports league and to hand out the best eSports team award, but he was mainly there showing off the new teaser trailer for Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn (which confirms that, yes, he's not Chinese).

The Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the game ended in May 5, 2014 with $458,884 raised by 1,339 backers, so it's good to hear at least something about it a year later, even if any mention of Shaq Fu makes me relive the horrible moments I spent playing the original disaster on SNES.

At the very least, this reboot is a beat-'em-up and not a fighter, though it has the same look and feel as the not-so-decent remake for Turtles in Time. The only way I'll be completely convinced with this is if the game forces Shaq to shoot free throws or pick up some Icy Hot power-ups for eight hours of relief.
