Cyberpunk 2077 Launching in Late 2016, According to Rumor

Cyberpunk 2077 is, all in all, a mystery since it was announced three years ago in October 2012 by CD Projekt RED. The Witcher 3 developer hasn't said much about the game since then, but Gamereactor Germany reports that through a source who is close to the studio has said that CD Projekt RED plans on releasing it in late 2016.

The developer hasn't announced any official release date for the game as it's still heavily in development, but the source says that the developer is "more than likely" working toward both a PS4 and Xbox One release. However, either Sony or Microsoft might be looking at establishing an exclusivity deal for Cyberpunk 2077.

This release date of late 2016 might be overly optimistic, though, since CD Projekt RED CEO Adam Kicinski says that they won't even be discussing Cyberpunk 2077 until 2017 in a Reuters report in May 2015. In other words, this could all just be vague guesswork. I would rather wait until the studio has something official.
