DOOM Confirmed 1080p 60 FPS On PS4 and Xbox One

Bethesda has confirmed that this year's DOOM release will run at 1080p with 60FPS on both the Xbox One and PS4. It sees this achievement as a showcase of the technology behind the idTech 6 engine that powers the game.

Among the other information shared on Bethesda's latest blog post is the reveal of the Static Cannon and Vortex Rifle for multiplayer as well as confirmation that the United Aerospace Corporation is back.

Below is the latest campaign gameplay trailer of DOOM, featuring raw PC version footage. 

DOOM will debt on May 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
