Killing Floor 2 Goes Gold After Lengthy Early Access Period

You can be forgiven if you saw us cover Killing Floor 2 last week, and earlier this week, and thought "well that's never coming out." But, contrary to that perfectly reasonable assumption,

Killing Floor 2 will, in fact, be coming out next Friday, Nov. 18th.

Announced in a Tweet from Deep Silver, who is distributing the game in Europe, Killing Floor 2 has gone gold.

Why the uncertainty? Well, if you search Killing Floor 2 in our search bar, you'll see that the last time GameRevolution covered Killing Floor 2 before recently was in April of 2015. That's because it first came to Steam Early Access in April 21, 2015. After a year and a half into it, and people definitely had their doubts.

Just look around old Reddit threads, like this one speculating a release in Fall 2016 (which they're now meeting):

But Killing Floor 2 has proved wrong all the doubters, at long last. Early indications from the Beta period are mostly positive, and it looks to be an gore-filled thrill ride of zombie killing.
