Watch: Robin Destroys Batman In Latest Injustice 2 Reveal Trailer

Confirmed via livestream, Robin is just one of several new characters who will be coming to Injustice 2, offering a far larger range of playable heroes and villains than the original.

As seen above, Robin's debut trailer shows off several of his hallmark abilities, most prominently featuring a sword, grappling hook, explosive batarangs, and even teleportation. His implementation uses the Damian Wayne interpretation of Robin, birthed in 1986's Batman: Son of the Demon.

Robin's visual design has been met with divisiveness, with his mask being the biggest point of contention. Though, his flashy moves have been a high point of his reception.

Batman was also subtlety confirmed to have a new stance, a change in response to feedback from the first Injustice game.

Ed Boon pointed out that Injustice 2 will feature multiple "obscure characters". He didn't hint at any characters in particular, but with a release date on May 16th, it shouldn't be long until we see more character reveals.
