Injustice 2 “Here Come the Girls” Trailer Features Female Fighter Roster

A new trailer has been uploaded to the official Injustice 2 YouTube channel, this time with a new twist: an exclusive focus on female members of the fighter's playable roster. Complete with guitar riffs and catch-phrases, the trailer zeroes in on Cheetah, Catwoman, Black Canary, and Poison Ivy.

You can check out the trailer below. Of course, no trailer would be complete without goodie-two-shoes, straight-edge Batman showing up to lecture somebody about crime. Eh, I suppose that's inevitable.

Injustice 2 releases on PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th, but its closed beta is already underway. Black Canary was just recently added to the list of characters made playable in the beta, so her featured status in the above trailer only makes sense. I'm particularly interested in Catwoman; she's consistently a blast to play in the Arkham games, so I've no doubt the same will be true here.

Injustice 2's roster also features Batman, Blue Beetle, Harley Quinn, Brainiac, Swamp Thing, and a number of others, with more potentially on the way. NetherRealm itself has remarked that the game will include obscure fighters on its roster as well, so you can expect further surprises before release.
