Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Konfirmed for February Release

Mortal Kombat was among the best games of 2011. It was the one fighting game you shouldn't have missed. But maybe you did. Maybe at the time you were being held captive against your will and were forced to do unthinkable acts (like not playing Mortal Kombat). Maybe you had a serious lapse of judgment, brought on as a side-effect from that erection medicine you brought home from your trip to Thailand. There aren't many other acceptable excuses.

Get your shit together now, and your sins will be forgiven. Do so by picking up the upcoming Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition on February 28th. It has the full game, all the DLC (Freddy Krueger, Rain, Kenshi, Skarlet), and old-school MK skins, plus digital downloads of the 1995 Mortal Kombat film and Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors music album.

That's one swift roundhouse of content.

The DLC alone packs in over $20 of value. The movie, another $15 or so. And the music album, which isn't just some in-game music–it's got songs by Skrillex and Tokimonsta–is another $10 or so.

I'd love to tell you what a value this is at the cost of… but unfortunately, the press release left out the pricing. I've reached out to Warner Bros. PR for official word, and I'll update when I hear back.
