Open The Pig Bay Doors In Angry Birds Space

Not content with all my hate and vitriol, Rovio Entertainment also wants my confusion. That's why they've announced Angry Birds Space, the latest expansion in the long line of successfull iOS and Android games.

Next month, Rovio will launch (literally) the new Angry Birds games into space, calling it a whole new game, not just an expansion or companion game like Angry Birds Seasons. The title is expected to land on the App Store and Android Market March 22nd, with a ton more licensing merchandise to follow….

*sigh*

This doesn't make any sense. How does the physics engine and gameplay work in a zero-gravity environment? What game mechanics will really justify calling this a "brand new game?" I seriously doubt this is worth referencing Quantum Leap over.
