Kingdoms of Amalur To Add Even More Content With DLC In March

What's the first thing a developer should do after releasing an RPG with hundreds of hours of content? Add even more content, of course. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be receiving its first downloadable content pack next month just in-time for you having completed about half of the game.

Legend of Dead Kel will be the name of Kingdom of Amalur's first major DLC pack, and while nothing has been released about its story we can assume it has to do with a guy named Kel who isn't alive anymore. The pack will introduce an entirely new island to explore named Gallows End, which is roughly 15% the size of the current landmass. There will also be a new dungeon titled Dverga Fastings added in addition to a new city named Gravehal Keep. Along with the new areas will be additional armor sets, a new questline, and tons of new story to delve into.

The DLC will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 toward the end of March with a target release date of March 20th.
