Shine A Light On The Skyrim: Dawnguard Trailer

Bethesda has officially revealed the first trailer for Dawnguard, the first complete add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which will cost 1600 Microsoft Points or $20 on PSN and Steam.

From what can be gathered from the trailer, it seems that the Dragonborn must choose between joining a group of vampires (or shadowy gargoyles?) or some creature that's afraid of the sun, or join the fight against them as a member of the Dawnguard. The narrator seems to be the father of a daughter that the Dragonborn rescues and is the leader of the vampiric creatures who wants to seize The Elder Scrolls for himself.

As much as vampires might be a form of evil, it's not so far from the Companions in Whiterun. So perhaps the plot will be more complex than just a black-and-white affair.

Dawnguard is slated for a Summer release.
