Final Fantasy VII Possibly Coming To Steam

If you've been dying to play Final Fantasy VII and for whatever reason don't have a PlayStation 3, rejoice, for it looks like the beloved PSone role-playing game is coming to Steam. A user on GoG.com posted an allegedly leaked product description on the site's forums, which includes links to a Google cache, a screenshot and a domain registration for the game.

Since Square has yet to confirm the validity of this news, we can't say for certain that this FFVII port is a go, but it's hard to deny the slew of compelling evidence above. I don't know about you, but I for one would much rather see a Steam port of Final Fantasy VIII, as I found it to be a much more compelling experience.

Which of the Final Fantasy games would you like to see come to Steam? Sound off with your personal fave in the comments below.
