3DS To Double PS Vita Sales In July

Much like the 3DS a year ago, the PlayStation Vita is off to a rocky start. The lack of compelling software (although that changes this week with Sound Shapes) and high price tag is keeping hardware sales to a minimum. The 3DS, however, which has enjoyed strong sales in recent months, is continuing to perform well.

In July, analysts are predicting that the 3DS will double the total units sold of the PlayStation Vita. Even BEFORE the release of the 3DSXL this August.

When the 3DSXL does launch, the PlayStation Vita could get left in its dust, especially with no real killer app in sight.
