Far Cry 5 Season Pass Comes With Far Cry 3 and Wacky DLCs Set in Vietnam, Mars

Ubisoft has just revealed the contents of Far Cry 5‘s Season Pass, and it’s pretty bizarre. In a good way.

No one could have predicted such wacky situations included in the Season Pass DLC considering the somewhat serious subject matter being explored in the main game, where players will be pitted against the Eden’s Gate doomsday cult, who use violence and manipulation to force the residents of Hope County to embrace their brand of “salvation.”

The Far Cry 5 Season Pass will feature three unique DLC adventures, where players will travel back in time to the tropical jungles of Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng in Hours of Darkness. Next, players will face hordes of flesh-eating zombies in various B-movie scenarios in what will surely be a treat for movie buffs. Last but not least, players will actually leave planet Earth to zap some arachnids on the barren surface of Mars for some sci-fi cheesiness.

For players who would prefer a more traditional Far Cry experience, Far Cry 3 Classic Edition (single-player content only) will be included in the Season Pass as well. It will also be released as a standalone purchase about four weeks after Far Cry 5 officially goes on sale.

No announcements on the pricing for Far Cry 5‘s Season Pass have been made at the time of writing. Far Cry 5 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 27.
