If Football Manager Touch 2018 (and its bigger brother) hasn’t already taken over your life then, boy, I hope you’ve not got any plans for the next six months. The wildly-popular management sim has just been given a surprise Switch release date – it’s out now!
Marking the series’ debut on a Nintendo platform, Football Manager Touch 2018 – the stripped-down version of the full-fat Football Manager 2018 title – is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

While not currently available in the US Switch store, both the European and UK stores has Football Manager Touch 2018 listed at €29.99/£29.99. The game is available to download now and can be played both on a television screen as well as using the Switch as a handheld on the go.
So, how does Football Manager Touch 2018 compare to the PC version of Football Manager 2018? Essentially, the game is a far more streamlined, less time-intensive experience. Features such as Dynamics and more heavy-set data analysis are left by the wayside in favour of a game that will allow you to speed through seasons more quickly than ever before.
Those who already own and pre-ordered Football Manager 2018 may want to hold off, however, as all Steam pre-orders came with a free copy of Football Manager Touch 2018 back in October. For the rest of you, including those who have yet to experience the gaming crack (seriously, it’s been cited in divorce cases) that is Football Manager, then you’re in for a helluva time. Say goodbye to your free time. I mean it.
