Code Vein is one of the new, upcoming action RPGs from Bandai Namco, with a worldwide release set for September 28. And today, the company has announced and detailed the game’s digital pre-order bonuses as well as the Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Edition for the game’s release in Japan.
According to Gematsu, those who pre-order the game’s digital release will get an array of bonuses including a “Shiny Custom Parts Set” accessory set, a “Trailblazer” Blood Code, and a “Protagonist Character Special Stamp Set” for multiplayer chat.
As for those who purchase the Season Pass, they will receive a set of three add-ons for the game post-launch. These DLCs include additional dungeons, additional versions of partners, Blood Codes, and more. Season Pass holders will also get additional bonuses including a new character “Mia: White Ver.,” an “Astraia” Blood Code, and a Code Vein PlayStation 4 theme called “Revenants Gathered at the Base.”
Lastly, the Code Vein Digital Deluxe Edition will include the game, the Season Pass, and one more piece of additional content – a “Bloodthirsty Customize Parts Set,” which comes with three accessories and an exclusive design mask.
The announced bonuses that come with the digital pre-order, Season Pass, and Digital Deluxe Edition are all for the game’s Japanese release only but the game’s worldwide release will mostly likely get similar offers. There’s no word yet on bonuses for those who pre-order or purchase the game’s physical retail release.
Code Vein is an action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world. It features an open-world environment and is played from a third-person perspective with gameplay inspired by the Dark Souls franchise. It features an anime-inspired visual style and players will be able create their own character, called Revenants, who must consume the blood of others to maintain their sanity as well as unlock their “Gifts.”
Code Vein is scheduled for release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 28, 2018.
