Molyneux’s Curiosity Has Official Release Date In November

Peter Molyneux's Curiosity finally has an official release date. After getting pushed back from an original August launch plan, 22 Cans—Molyneux's start-up developer—will release Curiosity: What's Inside the Cube on November 7th.

Molyneux told VG247 that "It was a real struggle getting it though Apple, mainly due to its uniqueness, but we are there." He thanked everyone for "remaining curious."

Curiosity is literally about players chipping away at a cube to find out what's inside. Apparently it's "valuable and so life-changingly important." Up to a million players can chip away at the cube at once, and players can buy different pickaxes if the included pickaxe isn't doing a good enough job.

I have to admit that I'm curious what could be in this cube, especially since Molyneux has said he will offer a pickaxe that costs $50,000, but I'm not sure if I'm curious enough to play it. Shall we start a betting pool on how quickly someone breaks it open?
