Mass Effect Trilogy For PS3 Arriving This December

Earlier this year, Electronic Arts and BioWare unveiled the Mass Effect Trilogy, a compilation that includes all three epic role-playing games. Surprisingly enough, the PlayStation 3 was confirmed to be getting the collection as well, serving as the first time the original—and arguably best—Mass Effect game will be available on the PlayStation 3.

We've known for a little while now that the Xbox 360 and PC versions would be arriving on November 6th, but now we've got word from BioWare confirming that the PS3 version will arrive one month later on December 4th. You'll be able to pick it up in a stylish box at retail or purchase the compilation digitally over the PlayStation Network. Should you just want to pick up ME1, a standalone version will be available on the PlayStation Store as well.

So, who's picking up the Mass Effect Trilogy this fall? More importantly, which of the three games is your favorite? I personally lean towards the first Mass Effect. Such an epic story.
