The Game Awards Nominees Announced – See Them All Here

The Game Awards nominees have been announced in a livestream on the YouTube channel for the award show created by Geoff Keighley. Many of The Game Awards nominees are exactly the games one might expect. A few indie games have also posted some respectable nominations.

God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 have both been nominated for eight awards each. These two games wil also be duking it out for the coveted Game of the Year award. 2018’s Spider-Man comes in second with seven overall nominations. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the indie title Celeste bring up fourth and fifth place, respectively, with four nominations each.

The final showdown will be taking place on December 6, 2018, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. If you’re in the area, you can pick up tickets for $70 a pop and go see which of The Game Awards nominees will emerge victorious at this year’s show.
