Killzone Mercenary Dated, Coming This Fall

Guerrilla Games' highly anticipated portable shooter, Killzone: Mercenary will be hitting the PlayStation Vita on September 17th.

The studio announced the news in a post on the PlayStation Blog, accompanied by a new trailer for the game, which is loaded with new jaw-dropping in-game footage. I am just amazed at how incredible this game looks, as it really does appear comparable to its PS3 counterparts.

Are you hyped for Killzone: Mercenary? If this turns out to be a home run for the Vita, will it sway you into picking up the handheld? Let us know in the comments below.

Game Revolution's Anthony Severino had some hands-on time with the game (I'm so jealous), so be on the lookout for a full preview later today.
