Square Enix To Uncover Dragon Quest X Wii U On February 18th

The Wii U is getting some early MMO love.

Famitsu has uncovered that Square Enix will fully detail Dragon Quest X Wii U's release and content plans on February 18th. Although the price is expected to follow the same script as its Wii counterpart, additional content and a stamped release date are to be expected.

Dragon Quest X released on the Wii last year and garnered very positive reception. On a negative note, it was exclusive to Japan, and its Wii U counterpart is not looking to change that. However, the title has grossed a healthy amount with sales nearing the 1 million mark, and the Wii U iteration will certainly push it over the milestone. Such reception is prone to localization, so while February 18th might be painful for westerners who have no motivation to import, it might give a glimpse of what to expect in North America at a later date.
