Shazam items in Rocket League

Psyonix introduces free Shazam! goodies for Rocket League

The developers at Psyonix have been quite busy with Rocket League content as of late. Along with introducing its latest Rocket Pass, the studio has other goodies coming over the next few months—and that includes some free stuff from notable WB properties.

Among them is Shazam!, the new DC Comics film that features Zachary Levi in the title role. Today, the company published a blog post explaining how you can get your hands on some free goods inspired by the hero.

“Starting right now, you can unlock new in-game items inspired by the hit DC Comics film, and the best part is, they’re free!” they explained in the post. “Just as Billy Batson says, ‘Shazam!,’ to get his super powers, so too will you get your items!

“Just enter key word ‘shazam’ in the “Redeem Code” menu to get the official Shazam Octane Decal and Shazam Wheels. These items may not come with super strength or bullet immunity, but you’ll still look super cool when your Battle-Car goes flying through the air!”

WB and Psyonix have worked quite well together in the past, as fans may recall. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen offerings from the DC Comics fold enter the world of Rocket League. Previous additions include the legendary Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, along with various items inspired by the Flash. And, as you may recall, WB Games published the physical version of the game that came out last year across the board.

This trend could likely continue with later releases. We’ve got DC Comics-themed shows coming back to the WB this fall, and there’s also Joker, the new film featuring Joaquin Phoenix in the title role. (You can watch the trailer here.)

For now, though, hop in and enjoy your free Shazam! goodies in Rocket League. And if you haven’t seen the movie yet, you can catch it in theaters now.
