Mortal Kombat 11 Frost reveal trailer shows off its final base character

With the game releasing within a matter of hours, players are likely anxious to finally get their hands on the game. But now it’s time to cool things off a little bit with the return of an ice-cold character. The Mortal Kombat 11 Frost trailer showed the return of the classic ninja.

You may remember this former Lin Kuei warrior making her debut years ago in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. But now she’s back in a more cybernetic manner, ready to make Sub-Zero and other Kombatants feel the icy steel of her revenge.

You can check out Frost in her debut trailer below, which first premiered on today’s Kombat Kast. In it, you get a good idea of just what she can do. This includes generating Iron Man-style cold blasts from her chest, as well as generating ice balls that can stop a foe in mid-air. This makes them perfect targets for attacks from above and below. And maybe even a few combos to boot.

Frost can also generate ice blades from her hands, creating a wicked “helicopter” style of attack to hit an opponent multiple times. There are also some combos she can put together as well, with the right skill of player.

As for her fatality, we won’t spoil it here. But it definitely leans more towards the creative side, while at the same time keeping with the grotesque themes.

Frost serves as the final main roster addition for Mortal Kombat 11. However, there’s still room for it to grow, as some downloadable content is coming our way. Shang Tsung has already been confirmed; and more names should be introduced in the months ahead. And that includes some big surprises like The Joker, Terminator, Spawn, and Ash from Evil Dead, if some leaks are to believed. However, NetherRealm has yet to officially confirm any of the DLC fighters aside from Shang Tsung.
