Research firm DFC isn't too impressed with Microsoft's entertainment plan for Xbox One, claiming that the company's strategy is "deeply flawed."
During the firm's market report, DFC cites online check-in requirements as well as anti-used game measures as two major reasons why Sony has the advantage going into the next generation.
"So far this has not had a major negative impact on the Xbox business but that is likely to change with the Xbox One launch. Right now the entire future of Microsoft’s consumer entertainment business is in question and that is likely to have a major impact on the game industry," DFC’s David Cole explained.
