Tekken soundtracks now available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and more

Have you ever just listened to the Tekken 7 character select music and wanted to absorb it outside of the game? Well, now you can as a number of Tekken soundtracks have just hit numerous music streaming and marketplace platforms.

Announced by Bandai Namco, the soundtracks from Tekken 1 through 7 are available now on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. This seems to only include the numbered mainline games, as indicated by the soundtracks found on Spotify. However, iTunes does have Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion available to purchase for $9.99 and $5.99 respectively. If you are having trouble finding the Tekken Soundtracks, they are under the artist name Namco Sounds.

Since Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music are all music streaming platforms, you will not need to purchase the soundtracks separately to listen. However, to listen to the soundtrack through iTunes, you will need to pay for each one separately.

Each soundtrack has loads of songs for you to listen to. Some of them do only last a few seconds while other songs last as long four minutes. It should be noted that some soundtracks, such as the Tekken and Tekken 3, will include both the arcade and the console release versions of each song. In particular, Tekken 3‘s console release version is of the PlayStation 2 version, which was part of Tekken 5’s Arcade History mode, rather than the PlayStation 1 version.

Tekken 7, which is one of the soundtracks now available, is out right now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. During Evo 2019, Season 3 DLC was revealed bringing two new fighters, Zafina and Leroy Smith, into the fray, as well as new moves for every character in the game. At the same event, there was seemingly a tease for Metal Gear Solid‘s Solid Snake to join Tekken 7 but ended up being a joke by the Evo organizers.
