The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC trailer is here and it shows off stunning 4K 60FPS graphics! Rockstar Games is getting ready for the next launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the PC release date is getting closer every day. The studio has decided to give us a quick look at all of the stunning graphical improvements that PC players will be able to enjoy in this brand-new port of their smash hit Western game.
Throughout the one-minute long Red Dead Redemption 2 PC trailer, we see a wide variety of scenes set at different locations throughout the game world. Each of these times and places appear to be ideally set up to show off one or more of the game’s special effects and give us an idea of what things will look like with all the graphics settings turned up to the maximum.
As an example, several scenes are set at a time of day that generate god rays (that is, the rays of light the sun generates through obstacles). We get to see a few instances of reflections in work when a bird flies low over a lake and when some horses run through a puddle. Weather effects, too, are highlighted with a blizzard at one point.
If there is any one thing that stands out in this trailer, it’s the lighting. Whether it’s natural or man-made, Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to light its scenes beautifully—all the more so on the improved PC version of the game.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC trailer also has a bit of narration that plays over it, highlighting the overall sentiment of the game.
“We a long way east of land we know. Far from real, open country. More and more civilizations. What a damn mess we’re making of things.” — Trailer Narration
The PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on the Rockstar Games Launcher and the Epic Games Store on November 5, 2019, with a Steam release to follow sometime in December. Check out all of the pretty graphical improvements by watching the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Trailer for yourself below.
