The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Gets European Release Date [Update: North America, too!]

[Update] Nintendo has confirmed that North American gamers will be getting The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on the same day as those in Europe. Mark October 4th on your calendars, folks!

[Original] Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will launch on October 4th in Europe. The news was made official during today's European Nintendo Direct broadcast.

Sadly, we still don't have a firm release date for North American gamers, but there's reason to believe that it will be sometime in early October as well… or so we hope. After seeing how gorgeous this GameCube classic looks in high definition, it has been awfully hard to remain patient.
