Sony To Announce PS4 “Release Plans” At gamescom

Sony has provided some additional details on its plans for gamescom. On the official UK PlayStation website, the company has confirmed that its media briefing will shed light on its "release plans for PlayStation 4, as well as updates on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita."
While Sony doesn't specifically say whether or not the release date will be provided, I think it's safe to assume that's precisely what we'll get. After all, we already know how much the thing is going to cost—what else is there left for them to reveal release-wise?

Sony's gamescom press conference is set to take place at 18:00 BST on Tuesday, August 20th. What else do you hope to see Sony announce? A PS Vita price drop perhaps? Let us know in the comments below.
