XCOM: Enemy Within Revealed, Coming This Fall

The first official expansion for Firaxis Games' strategy title XCOM: Enemy Unknown will launch on November 12th. The add-on is called Enemy Within and will be available on PC and Mac for $30, and Xbox 360 and PS3 for $40.

The more expensive console version will be dubbed the "Commander Edition," which includes XCOM: Enemy Unknown as well as the Elite Soldier and Slingshot packs.

Instead of serving up an entirely different experience, Enemy Within basically beefs up what was already available in Enemy Unknown. That said, the expansion adds plenty of new soldier abilities, new weapons, new equipment, new bad guys to take down, and even more multiplayer content. Suffice it to say, there is plenty "new" here for XCOM fans to chew on.

Will you be picking up the expansion this November? Let us know in the comments below.
