Bayonetta and Vanquish remasters coming to Xbox One in 4K 60 FPS

Bayonetta and Vanquish remasters are coming to the Xbox One, with both games being playable in 4K 60 FPS on the Xbox One X. The two games will be available to purchase as part of a bundle though can also be bought separately, with them commemorating the 10th anniversary of developer Platinum Games.

The remasters were featured in listings on the Microsoft Store, highlighting what players can expect from the as-yet-unannounced releases: “Commemorate the 10th anniversary of PlatinumGames’ two most celebrated titles with the Bayonetta & Vanquish remastered dual-pack,” the listing for the bundle reads. “4K graphics available at 60fps on Xbox One X.”

Bayonetta‘s install size was reportedly listed as 12.87GB, while Vanquish‘s install size wasn’t detailed in the listings. There’s no word yet on whether or not the games will be released on the PS4 and PC, though it seems likely that this will be a multiplatform bundle.

Platinum Games fans will be pleased with this new development, and will provide a nice stopgap while they continue to wait for Bayonetta 3. The sequel has yet to receive a release date, though is currently touted as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
