Pokemon Twilight Wings anime point

Pokemon Twilight Wings anime premiers on YouTube next year

Where the Pokemon games lead, the anime follows, as Pokemon Twilight Wings has been announced as a brand-new anime in the creature collecting franchise. Based on Pokemon Sword and Shield, it will be debuting on YouTube of all places next year.

This upcoming anime is going to be rather short, especially when compared to the over 1,000 episodes of the core Pokemon anime, as Twilight Wings will have just seven episodes in total. According to a news post on the Pokemon website, the series will “show in detail the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, and the conflicts they must resolve.”

Each of the seven episodes will be around five minutes of length, meaning that it will equal roughly one and a half episodes of a regular anime. There will, of course, be several Pokemon from the Galar region making an appearance in the show. You’ll be able to watch it for yourself on the official Pokemon YouTube channel starting on January 15, 2020.
