Gearbox Software Confirms Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition

2K Games and Gearbox Software have confirmed that a Game of the Year Edition of Borderlands 2 is real and will be launching on October 8th.

The game will run you $59.99 and includes over $100 worth of content. In it you'll get the main game (obviously) along with the four campaign expansions and added classes. If that weren't enough, the GOTY package also includes the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, the Collector's Edition Heads and Skins, and Premiere Club content.

If you haven't already played Borderlands 2, this will be the perfect way to jump in on all the great content that has been released thus far. It's a sizable package with plenty of content to chew on, so rest assured it'll be 60 bucks well spent.
