Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky Second Chapter Actually Happening, For Real

XSeed Games has announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter is officially on its way to North America.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter will arrive in digital form only, coming to PSP via the PSN Store (will work with Vita) and PC via Steam; both types expected to drop in 2014. The original game will also be getting a Steam release this winter. Here's a trailer for the second game:

Marketing, right?

Developed by Nihon Falcom, the first title in the Japanese RPG trilogy hit PSP two years ago, receiving high praise from critics and fans. The game, however, was the first in a trilogy, leading to XSeed being the recipient of constant emails, tweets, and all other forms of fan communication asking about part two. XSeed would have loved to make this happen sooner, were the game not such a gigantic project (especially for a company of XSeed's size). At least for now, it seems that all is right with the world.
