Pachter: “First Party Stuff On The Xbox One Is Better Than The First Party Stuff On The PS4”

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter believes that Xbox One has the stronger first-party launch lineup when compared to PlayStation 4.

Speaking on the latest episode of Pach-Attack!, he said, "In my humble opinion, the first party stuff on the Xbox One is better than the first party stuff on the PS4." He then went on to highlight both Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 as the two major standouts, noting the lack of a first-party racing game from Sony for PS4's launch.

But despite the stronger launch lineup, Pachter still believes PS4 will outsell Xbox One this holiday. "I think Microsoft will sell fewer Xbox Ones than Sony will sell PS4s because of that $500 price point. That extra hundred bucks is almost two games you could buy instead. So I think a lot of gamers would rather save the hundred bucks."
