Nintendo’s new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct live stream came with a ton of new announcements. One of the biggest is the return of Kapp’n, a series mainstay that transports players around in various ways. Now, the green turtle is operating boat tours that ferry players to all-new mysterious island areas. When is the ACNH Kapp’n update coming?
The ACNH Kapp’n Boat Tours release date is November 5, 2021. Kapp’n joins the popular Nintendo Switch game as part of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update.
Kapp’n’s last appearance was in Animal Crossing: City Folk, the 2008 Nintendo Wii game. At the time Kapp’n was a bus driver in the big city, so the turtle definitely deserves some rest and relaxation as a sailor in the idyllic setting of New Horizons.
ACNH: Where is the Kapp’n Boat Tours location?
Players can find the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Kapp’n Boat Tours location at the end of their island’s pier. Simply speak to Kapp’n and pay 1,000 Nook Miles to set sail for a new mysterious island area. After exploring the mystery island, head back and speak with Kapp’n to return home at no extra cost.
Kapp’n isn’t the only familiar face making a comeback in the huge Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update; players will also be able to visit Brewser in the Museum. There, users can drink coffee and chat in a relaxing environment — it’ll be the perfect hangout whenever friends visit the island via online play.
