Check Out the Jaw-Dropping Gameplay of Monolith Soft’s X

Monolith Soft's upcoming JRPG, tentatively titled "X," was showcased during last night's Nintendo Direct presentation.

A substantial chunk of gameplay footage was shown during the Direct, which we've embedded below for your viewing pleasure.

There's no denying the game's beauty and its striking similarities to the Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles. If "X" doesn't end up being a direct sequel, at the very least it'll be some sort of spiritual successor, and that's a very, very good thing.
