Wolfenstein: The New Order Runs at 1080p, 60fps on Both Xbox One and PS4

Bethesda Softworks has revealed that both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of MachineGames' upcoming shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order will run at a crystal clear 1080p resolution and a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second.

This bucks the trend of multiplatform games running better on PlayStation 4. In the case of games like Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Thief, Sony's next-gen console is capable of providing a 1080p experience, while those on Xbox One have to settle with a lower native resolution.

Wolfenstein: The New Order launches on May 20th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC. In addition, those who pre-order the game will get access to the Doom 4 beta.
