NHL, Anime, Concerts Come to Vita in New Apps

I use my Vita almost exclusively for games, though I'm told other people like more cool-kid-type things on it. Sony's second handheld now gets a few more uses, including NHL Game Center, Crunchyroll, and Qello.

NHL Game Center allows users who've paid for a subscription to watch live NHL games. The service is currently available on pretty much everything (TV, PS3, Xbox, tablets, computers, the whole lot). As a Vita owner and NHL fan, I wish this weren't the only NHL-related thing on the system.

Crunchyroll enables one to stream new anime and read digital versions of manga.

Qello can be used for watching live musical performances by bands deemed important enough.

The much-anticipated Hulu Plus is said to be available on March 25, so Vita owners can look forward to that as well.
