The Golf Club Challenges Tiger Woods, Steam Early Access Available Today

It's about time that someone, something, challenged EA Sports' PGA Tour series (formerly the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series) with its own version of a next-generation golf simulation title.

The Golf Club aims to do exactly that, now available in Steam Early Access at a discounted price of $29.74 (15% off from the original price of $34.99) for seven days. This is one game we missed in our Buy, Try, and Die (can I has upcoming games release list, Steam?), so let's correct this now!

The highlight of The Golf Club is its Course Creator, where players can generate whatever course they want that can be shared with friends all around the world. The editor will allow you to move green, holes, and tees as well as terraform bunkers, rivers, trees, and foliage. It's a feature that hopes to balance out the fact that the real-life course licensing is still tied to the PGA Tour series.

The developers also promise no loading times between holes, plenty of pre-designed courses, four-player multiplayer, and online sharing and play.
