LittleBigPlanet Developer Media Molecule Skipping E3

Media Molecule, the insanely creative team behind games like LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, has confirmed that it won't be having presence at this year's gaming expo in Los Angeles.

The studio posted the following message on Twitter:

While this is incredibly disappointing, especially when considering how thin Sony's lineup of first-party games for PlayStation 4 is right now, it shouldn't be all too surprising. You see, Media Molecule is based in Europe, so it only makes sense for the studio to debut its "next big thing" later this year at Gamescom, which is held Germany.

Even though Media Molecule doesn't apparently have anything to announce at Sony's media briefing next week, there's sure to be plenty of exciting news coming for PlayStation owners out of E3. As such, stay tuned to GameRevolution for all the updates.
