The Witcher Battle Arena Brings MOBA Action to Mobile

CD Projekt RED has announced that it's been crafting a brand-new game for fans of The Witcher, but it's nothing like prior entries in the series. In addition to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which launches early next year, the studio is developing a MOBA for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

The game is called The Witcher Battle Arena, and, just like the name suggests, it's a multiplayer online battle arena game similar to League of Legends and Dota 2

This mobile title supports both solo and multiplayer, with 3 vs. 3 battles and the option to face off against bots. It features a slew of different iconic characters from The Witcher universe and has a sleek and mobile-minded interface. Oh yeah, and it's totally free to play.

For more details on The Witcher Battle Arena, check out the game's official page. As far as a release date is concerned, CD Projekt only states that it's "coming soon."
