Bethesda has just announced that, for the first time in the history of QuakeCon, it will be hosting a blood drive in collaboration with The American Red Cross.
It's dubbed "The Good Within Blood Drive," and, as the name implies, is "inspired" by Tango Gameworks' upcoming horror title, The Evil Within. The drive will take place on July 18th and 19th at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
"QuakeCon has a great group of attendees who we think will want to help the community by donating blood," Bethesda Softworks' Pete Hines said. "The American Red Cross is a terrific organization, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to QuakeCon."
The Evil Within is set to launch on October 21st for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PS4, and PC.
